Introduction to the Tiltas Trust

The Tiltas Trust is charity registered in the United Kingdom with The Charity Commission. This means that our activities are controlled by British Government Statute and our finances are monitored to ensure that all monies given for the purpose of the charity are only spent for that purpose. The Trustees receive no payment for their time but can claim reasonable expenses.

TTT was founded in February 2007 as the charitable arm of The British-Lithuanian Society, itself having been founded in 1994 to increase understanding between both countries. Members of The British-Lithuanian Society can opt for part of their subscription to be allocated to the works of TTT.

The projects in which TTT has participated are described in the Projects section.
